"Double malleolli" sign

Abstract
Rickets is prevalent in developing world and the disorder has serious impact on overall well being of child apart from its varying musculoskeletal manifestations. Clinical identification coupled with relevant investigation is instrumental to diagnosis. Numerus well identifiable clinical features are described and a swelling over medial malleolar region comprising the “double malleoli” sign is an important though unusual one.

Key words: Rickets, Double malleolus, Sign, Deficiency, Clinical feature, Vitamin D.
